Overview

Cakes etc. is a shop with character and memorabilia of a bygone age, built up over 26 plus years. Now run by Sue and Rhonda, assisted by a team of dedicated professionals, the character is preserved amidst a friendly atmosphere and an array of cakes, stationery, cake decorations, bomboniere and wedding accessories ranging from the truly traditional to the ultra modern and funky.

Our wedding cakes are exquisite, made from the finest ingredients in the traditional homemade way. Mud flavours include dark chocolate, white chocolate and caramel. Other options are orange (or lemon) and poppy seed, banana, carrot and walnut or traditional fruit cake. Depending on your choice of icing buttercake and various flavours of sponge are also available.

The design choice is huge, being limited only by your imagination; your budget; and what we (rarely) decide is just not possible! You can choose from our photograph album, from cake magazines in our shop, from illustrations you find on the internet, or have a cake personally designed for you.
