Hello ladies,
For my bridal party gifts Ive bought beer glasses and martini glasses. A friend of mine is writing bestman etc on these for me. However Ive bought all the different paints from spotlight and they are all to thick when writing and Ive rang all my local craft stores to see if they have pens that write on glass. Has anyone done this or know of somewhere that sells something I can use. Im desperate now under 3 weeks and I cant order them from our party place as there isnt enough time now!
please help |

| I had the same problem, I asked a profesional that sells the glasses and they said they use the paint in a tube but uses a really fine paintbrush to write it with. this turned out to tricky and messy for me so i decorated my glasses with dots etc. but skipped the writting |

If you go to the glass paint section in Spotlight, they have little 'tips' i suppose you can call them... and they screw on to the end of your bottle and you can write with them... here is a pic of my bon bons that i am doing
I ave found it very easy to write on the glass!
good luck! _________________

oh, and just thought that i would explain that the writing is in the 'silver' thicker type, and the twists around the stem is with the coloured paints... _________________

I did wine glasses too like bec2506. I used normal artists acrylic and then mixed it with the Jo Sonjas glass and tile medium. Put in it a bottle with a pointy nozzle and used sticky tape to make the tip finer, kind of like how you make a piping bag with paper. Worked fine, BUT not long after my wedding I was in the craft shop by Target at TTP and saw glass paint in a tube there that was exactly what I was looking for but the shop wasn't there when I got married I also tried a paintbrush but just couldn't get it to work!
Here is a pic of my glasses:
