James has had over 22 years of baking experience including overseas training and is well known in the Baking profession for his skill and talent. His parents owned Budapest Cakes for over 40 years.

Heidelberg Cakes are consistently winning awards for their cakes not only for the fantastic taste but the overall look and design.

We are the only cake shop in Adelaide that specialises in giving your cake the smooth plastic icing “look”, out of creamy smooth buttercream which is a much better tasting dessert cake (and we mean buttercream not margarine and icing sugar). We can even combine the buttercream on the bottom layers for you to enjoy on the night with the iced fruit cake on top for you to keep.
