Overview

Winner of the 2004 Clare Valley Tourism Award for the most highly commended accommodation in the New Tourism Category (in other words we didn't win, but we came close).

We have meticulously restored the original 140 yr old cottage which was once lived in by Agnes and Polly McCord and their brother Jack. They had a wonderful orchard and were reputed to have grown the best chrysanthemums in the Clare Valley.

Stroll through our extensive rose gardens, enjoying the perfume of the old world roses, and visit the best of the Clare Valley wineries.

If you would like to stay in our romantic stone self contained cottage with all the comforts of today, we offer you cosy old world surroundings, handmade quilts in every room, and an outdoor eating area surrounded by lush rose gardens. In our quiet homely cottage we want YOU to feel the most important guest of the year, so we also provide:

We have a 2 night minimum stay on weekends, with special packages offered in the off peak season  (eg. 3 nights for the price of 2 in the winter months, or for mid week stays). We have a non smoking policy and are unable to cater for additional pets.
