Michaela Burger [nee Lucas] - Wedding Singer

Overview

Classically trained as an opera singer at the Adelaide Conservatorium of Music, Michaela also completed a Masters is Musical Theatre at the Mountview Academy of Performing Arts, London. Her Australian musical theatre credits include starring roles in Les Miserables and Chicago with performances in The Marriage of Figaro and Tosca for Co-Opera SA.

Michaela has also had a stellar cabaret career winning the Adelaide Cabaret Festival scholarship in 2002. Since then she has written and starred in three one woman shows, all to sell-out audiences, and performed her most recent cabaret show with Adelaide’s renowned string quartet, Aurora Strings.

Michaela sings all styles of music from classical to jazz, blues, pop, gospel, folk, R&B and cabaret. She brings years of experience and professionalism to your special day and creates an atmosphere with her versatile voice.

As well as singing songs from her long list of repertoire Michaela is happy to learn any song that you have chosen in order to personalise your wedding day.

Michaela offers a no obligation demonstration of her singing, at which time she’ll help you discover what music best suits your special day and where to place the music in the ceremony or reception.

In addition to using professional backing music, if you’d like an extra live touch to your chosen songs, Michaela is connected with a huge network of professional musicians in Adelaide, including string quartet, Aurora Strings.
